Vous reconnaîtrez sans doute certains personnages bibliques qui viennent habiter le récit d’Étienne\, comme Gamaliel qui fut son maître comme il a été celui de saint Paul. D’autres personnages ne sont pas liés à des références bibliques précises : ce sera le cas du vieil Amos et celui du personnage dit « le simple ».
